Policies
Catering Services will do our greatest to ensure that your event is a complete success. To facilitate the planning of your memorable function, we kindly ask that the guidelines below be followed. If you need assistance, please contact the Catering Office at (212) 241-8163 or via email at PHuyck@restaurantassociates.com. In order to provide you with quality service, please allow at least 48 hours to successfully fulfill your event needs.
Catering request for over 100 people will require additional lead-time of 5 business days. The following menus are priced based on paper service.

Early AM/Late PM & Weekend functions are available with an additional labor charge.

Please allow 30 minutes between the food delivery time and the event start time
A $30 Administrative Charge will be assessed to all orders that are not placed within the 48 hr cut off as well as orders below the minimum required guest count. Early AM/Late PM Delivery charge will be $30. Catering Overtime $30 per hour with a minimum of 5 hours per delivery person or wait staff. If your event has been relocated please alert us to the exact new location to avoid confusion and unnecessary charges. Modifying your order – You can modify your order on the catering website by sending a tracking message. Otherwise last minute changes must be called in to the catering manager.
If you are charging your event through a departmental budget number an authorized signature is required prior to the date of the event. Payment can be made by cash, certified check or credit card (we accept all major credit cards) No personal checks will be accepted. All payments made by check, cash or credit card, must be received two (3) business days prior to the event date.
To avoid being charged, cancellations or changes to catering orders must be made 24hrs prior to the requested time.
Flowers, linen, and china service are available by request and at an additional charge and must be requested well in advance.
When planning your event at Mount Sinai, Conference Services must be notified for any equipment needed such as: rental tables &chairs. We will inform you of the number of tables needed for our services. Contact the Catering Office for more information.
Customers should be available to receive all catering deliveries, since the Catering Department cannot be responsible for the order once the delivery has been made
